This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Accountable for generating revenue within a specified territory by fostering loyalty and establishing new client relationships.
• Regularly visit healthcare professional (HCP) offices in person within a designated sales territory to achieve targeted sales volume and other set objectives.
• Employ CRM tools for pre-call preparation and post-call documentation to efficiently manage the territory.
• Continue to refine strategies for promoting whole-food nutritional supplements in the HCP sector.
• Evaluate and interpret market data to support the formulation of that strategy.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of trends and critical issues in the supplement industry to uncover relevant business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with an inside sales partner to generate leads, schedule appointments, follow up, and resolve customer concerns.
• Provide insights to sales operations and marketing to create training and educational resources for HCPs.
• Facilitate educational sessions for HCPs and distributor sales representatives through both in-person and virtual lunch and learns.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with industry opinion leaders to enhance growth potential.
• Utilize relationships to expand the HCP network.
• Engage Scientific Liaisons and other internal resources to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.
• Must consistently achieve forecasted goals.
• Attend all new hire orientations, ongoing training sessions, and headquarter meetings as required.
• Travel to regional or national trade shows and conferences to represent Standard Process at the exhibitor booth.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in outside sales is essential.
• Previous sales experience, ideally in the practitioner channel, representing natural or complementary/alternative products (health and wellness, supplements, pharmaceuticals) is preferred.
• A solid understanding of basic nutrition is necessary.
• Experience in analyzing sales and demographic data is required.
• Proven track record in product sales and territory development is essential.
• Experience in reporting and presenting sales data and activities is required.
• Familiarity with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com, is a plus.
