This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Strategically plan, organize, maintain, develop, and expand a profitable base of around 50 targeted and core dealers.
• Identify and onboard dealers within the designated territory, including A Plus Dealers.
• Drive sales by actively engaging with current and prospective customers regarding new product launches, services, supplies, pricing, programs, and discounts.
• Sustain and enhance sales revenue and gross margins.
• Keep an accurate record of call history within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and their teams to boost sales across assigned branches within the territory.
• When necessary, formulate corrective action plans to meet or exceed customer development and sales goals on a weekly basis.
• Serve as the channel expert on product features, benefits, performance, and design guidelines.
• Ensure that client accounts have all the necessary information to maintain and surpass customer service expectations, including policies and procedures on promotions, new product launches, billing, returns, product modifications, etc.
• Periodically contact customers to assess their satisfaction with the organization, products, and services.
• Keep an eye on competitive activities and trends within the territory.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Strong sales competency with the ability to develop and implement an effective sales plan.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Required proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internal systems such as CRM and expense reporting.
• Strong skills in relationship building and customer service, with a proven ability to generate new business through negotiation and execution of a sales plan.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• High level of focus and attention to detail.
• Capability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings/plans.
• Familiarity with HVAC products, services, customers, and market dynamics.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
