This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans for designated territories to meet revenue goals, enhance market presence, and grow Aventon's dealer network.
• Attain monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets through efficient business development, account management, and territory optimization.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealer partners, while also nurturing relationships with existing accounts to maximize sustainable growth and profitability.
• Guide and prioritize field sales efforts to ensure comprehensive territory coverage, dealer engagement, and the successful execution of sales initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and dealer feedback to uncover opportunities and provide strategic insights to leadership.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Field Sales Representatives to achieve revenue goals, dealer expansion, and performance targets.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, and retain high-performing sales talent, while fostering an environment of accountability and continual improvement.
• Oversee employee performance through goal setting, coaching, performance reviews, development planning, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with dealers and Field Sales Representatives to provide product training, sales assistance, and merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, account activities, and CRM reporting, while working cross-functionally to support dealer success and company growth.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas, expanding territories, and driving revenue increases.
• More than 2 years of experience in leading, coaching, and developing sales teams, including hiring, performance evaluation, and employee development.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship management, ideally within a dealer or channel sales context.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capacity to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, effectively solve problems, and take ownership of territory performance and business objectives.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business applications; experience with Zendesk is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in the cycling, electric bike, outdoor recreation, sporting goods, or related industries; established relationships with dealers, retailers, or distributors are highly sought after.
