This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Direct and oversee sales initiatives throughout the designated region to meet revenue and performance goals.
• Create and manage regional sales budgets while assisting territory representatives in developing and implementing their individual strategies.
• Discover and chase new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic growth plans.
• Train, mentor, and develop outside sales representatives to improve their performance and facilitate their professional development.
• Address customer inquiries and sales opportunities that arise from regional offices, mills, and inside sales teams.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners.
• Collaborate with inside sales to ensure accurate product pricing, availability, and manufacturing lead times.
• Identify and escalate significant or strategic opportunities to the National Accounts Sales Manager.
• Work closely with operations, sales leadership, and customer service teams to guarantee smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales management experience, preferably in manufacturing or building materials.
• At least 3 years of experience in distribution sales channels.
