This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual sales strategy (in December) to gather essential information on each assigned account and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure that these strategies align with local, regional, and national sales goals, and that the execution of this plan meets the established objectives.
• Conduct a structured annual evaluation with each assigned distributor to assess their effectiveness, profitability (for Ashcroft), and growth potential.
• Set targets, goals, and objectives for those making progress while recommending actions for those underperforming.
• Actively seek out and secure all assigned leads, providing regular updates on their status. (This is a joint responsibility with Inside Sales).
• Deliver product and application training for distributors and customers where a measurable return on invested time and resources is anticipated.
• Maintain frequent and direct communication with Sales Management, Marketing, Engineering, and other stakeholders regarding critical issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in selling measurement and control products, ideally supplemented by a four-year university degree (preferably in engineering) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with existing accounts and their staff who are involved in specifying, selecting, and purchasing the Company’s products, as well as with distributors and target accounts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of our Company’s products, their applications, features, and benefits, as well as a deep understanding of all market segments where these products are applied and sold.
• Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively in teams to achieve targeted booking goals.
• Proficiency in interpreting and drafting specifications, as well as in negotiating and finalizing orders.
• Capability to organize and deliver instructional and promotional training and seminars covering the technical aspects and applications of the Company’s products.
• Strong computer skills are essential, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, or have Asylee/Refugee status granted under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
