This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual sales strategy (in December) to gather essential information on each assigned account and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure that these strategies align with local, regional, and national sales goals, and that the execution of this plan will fulfill the established objectives.
• Conduct a formal yearly assessment with each assigned distributor to evaluate their effectiveness, profitability (to Ashcroft), and growth potential.
• Set targets, goals, and objectives with those showing progress and suggest actions for those who are under-performing.
• Actively seek out and close all assigned leads, providing regular updates on their status. (Jointly managed with Inside Sales).
• Offer product and application training for distributors and customers where a measurable return on time and financial resources invested is anticipated.
• Maintain frequent and direct communication with Sales Management, Marketing, Engineering, and other organizational departments regarding significant issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in selling measurement and control products, complemented by a four-year university degree (preferably in engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to effectively engage with existing accounts and their personnel involved in specifying, selecting, and purchasing the Company’s products, as well as with distributors and target accounts.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s products, including their applications, features, benefits, and a deep understanding of all market segments where these products are applied and sold.
• Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within teams to achieve targeted booking objectives.
• Proficiency in interpreting and composing specifications, as well as in negotiating and finalizing orders.
• Skill in organizing and delivering instructional and promotional training and seminars related to the technical aspects and applications of the Company’s products.
• Advanced computer skills are necessary, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, or hold Asylee/Refugee status under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
