This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Cultivating new prospects and engaging with current customers to enhance sales of the organization’s Stretch Films product range.
• This role is a field sales position that necessitates interaction with customer contacts at various levels in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Marketing, both within distribution and at the end-user level.
• Drive new business and boost profitability within the region by promoting organic growth.
• Formulate a plan to implement a strategy that fosters sustainable organic growth while maintaining essential connections to each relevant Amcor Division.
• Ensure that Amcor’s complete offerings, products, and services are presented cohesively to promote the One Amcor approach.
• Effectively identify solutions that Amcor can offer to establish extensive account relationships at mid to high levels while permeating through various functional areas of each organization.
• Capability to drive business on a regional or national scale as required, with travel as necessary.
• Implementation and support of robust commercial processes (e.g., Salesforce.com, etc.) to enhance transparency and facilitate effective communication.
• Identify, collaborate with, and develop essential internal resources (Product Management and Commercialization) as needed to meet customer growth objectives.
• Align key Amcor personnel with their customer counterparts to cultivate strong customer relationships.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in the packaging industry or in a related area within distribution and manufacturing.
• At least 3-5 years of progressive and successful sales experience.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive business solutions.
• Strong focus on building relationships.
• Self-motivated individual who is results-driven.
• Proficient in computer skills and organizational abilities.
• Capability to learn new products and technologies effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
