This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive organic growth to develop new business and enhance profitability within the region.
• Create strategic plans that facilitate sustainable organic growth while maintaining connections to each Amcor division.
• Represent Amcor’s complete range of offerings, products, and services through a cohesive “One Amcor” approach.
• Identify solutions that foster broad account relationships at mid to high levels and across various customer functional areas.
• Lead business initiatives on a regional or national scale as required and travel as necessary.
• Implement and support effective commercial processes and CRM to ensure transparency and efficient communication.
• Identify, engage, and develop essential internal resources, including Product Management and Commercialization, to meet customer growth objectives.
• Align Amcor teams with customer counterparts to cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Seek out new business opportunities, open new avenues, and secure business even in challenging market conditions.
• Interact with customer contacts in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Marketing at both distribution and end-user levels.
• Enhance sales of Amcor’s Custom Films product line among both new and existing customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of experience in broadline foodservice, janitorial/sanitary supply, distribution, manufacturing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive and successful sales experience.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions.
• Self-driven, resilient sales professional with a strong hunting instinct.
• Demonstrated ability to persist through rejection, challenges, and lengthy sales cycles.
• Strong focus on relationship building.
• Results-oriented and proactive.
• Proficient in computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong negotiation and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
