This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction by showcasing teamwork and empowerment, addressing issues through a consultative method, maintaining honesty and integrity, and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
• Position yourself as the primary expert for your customers by incorporating a vibrant combination of technical expertise, business insight, and a considerate customer-centric approach.
• Build and nurture relationships for new business and existing accounts to enhance profitability and sales growth for both Benjamin Moore and our partners.
• Drive, coordinate, and finalize opportunities with key partners to generate transformative business results.
• Utilize professional solution-based selling skills to address customer needs while employing the selling tools available.
• Identify and qualify new business in line with the Company’s account stratification objectives.
• A minimum of 1 year of field sales experience and a college degree is preferred (prior experience in paint is not necessary).
• Strong communication, listening, and public speaking abilities, with the capacity to listen, negotiate, and effectively influence others.
• High level of self-discipline, organizational skills, and proficiency in time management; the ability to meet deadlines is crucial.
• A natural sense of accountability, a self-starter who is comfortable working independently.
• Capability to drive results and meet expectations; willing to follow up and provide/receive feedback.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Willingness and ability to travel daily and overnight within the region and to work evenings/weekends as required.
• The ideal candidate should reside within the specified territory.
