📋 Description

• Business Development: You will be actively engaging in prospecting new business opportunities by visiting ranches, attending local cattle auctions, and connecting with your local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations. Your role involves building a robust business pipeline through outbound lead generation efforts while also responding to inbound leads promptly and prioritizing administrative duties alongside your field activities.

• On-Site Sales: You're not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussions about Halter are best conducted over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You assist potential customers on their ranches before discussing the benefits of Halter, even delivering coffee during calving season, as you appreciate the moments that make a significant impact on our clients.

• Developing Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new chances to grow, including expanding your existing customer base with Halter. You see value in nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. Recognizing that not every rancher will collar all their cows presents you with a unique chance to meet your objectives.

• Achieving Sales Goals: Ambitious sales targets do not intimidate you; you rise to the occasion and aim high. As an expert in pipeline management, you are confident in unqualifying leads when necessary. You are capable of managing current deals while keeping future ones in sight.

• Customer Relationship Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond making a sale. After the sale, you strive to maintain close connections with your customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide assistance, and address any challenges they may have with Halter’s products. You also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping clients maximize the benefits of Halter’s solutions.

• Ownership of Territory: You take considerable pride in what you cultivate and exhibit a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means attending to every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You appreciate being the face of your territory, engaging with high-level stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting bonds with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding Experience: Your commitment to ownership persists beyond the sale. You ensure that your customers have the best onboarding experience possible, actively managing the entire customer journey during the onboarding and deployment phases of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when transferring the customer to different teams across Halter.

• Gathering Field Insights & Feedback: You recognize the importance of feedback not only for the companies you aspire to work for but also as a fundamental aspect of how you manage your territory. Acting as the primary contact for collecting customer feedback in your area, you diligently advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: As a natural collaborator, you proactively seek out partnerships across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate concerns when needed and ensure that customers in your territory feel thoroughly supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will engage in demonstrations and network to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You believe that a team is more powerful when it collaborates. You aim to work with the broader team to refine and evolve the sales process, ensuring it aligns with the US market. Your insights will contribute to greater efficiencies as we scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Results-Driven & Communication Skills: You are motivated, adaptable, and excel in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with both customers and internal teams. Proactive by nature, you take initiative and do not hesitate to act.

• Experience in Ranching/Cattle: Your understanding of ranching or cattle operations equips you with insights into the unique challenges of the industry, allowing you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding what matters most.

• Expertise in Sales & Customer Success: You possess a solid track record of creating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and building lasting customer relationships. You focus on nurturing relationships over transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and exploring upsell opportunities within existing relationships.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced focus on both sales and customer success, preferably within the agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Skills: Resourceful and quick on your feet, you work effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and develop solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
