Retail Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary liaison for clients, Costco teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Foster robust working relationships with vendor operations teams and Costco buying teams.

• Assist with everyday account management tasks and ongoing business initiatives.

• Ensure accurate documentation related to program agreements, pricing, product details, order statuses, and planning activities.

• Aid in the onboarding and setup processes for new vendors launching brands at Costco.

• Create and oversee demand forecasts to facilitate inventory flow and enhance business performance.

• Track inventory levels and in-stock positions, proactively identifying risks and suggesting solutions.

• Evaluate sales trends, forecasts, and replenishment requirements to align with client and retailer goals.

• Deliver weekly sell-through reports, analytics, and actionable insights to clients.

• Track key business metrics and relay performance updates to stakeholders.

• Develop, maintain, and update items within Costco's systems.

• Assist with new item launches and ongoing maintenance tasks.

• Oversee customer purchase orders and aid in issue resolution as necessary.

• Identify operational challenges and actively drive their resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Prior experience with Costco from either the retailer or supplier perspective is preferred.

• Background in account management, retail operations, supply chain, forecasting, analytics, or related disciplines is required.

• Experience in supporting consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in interpreting data, discovering opportunities, and making informed recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including skills in sorting/filtering data, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.

• Familiarity with Costco systems, processes, and operational requirements is preferred.
