This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Regularly engaging with clients to showcase and explain the advantages of Merit products.
• Identifying potential customers and presenting them with the products offered by Merit.
• Maintaining relationships with clients to assess their satisfaction with the products.
• Recognizing opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction with the offerings.
• Creating tailored drawings for clients requiring custom kits or manifolds.
• Preparing and delivering pricing contracts to clients for the products.
• Following up with clients to discover opportunities for increasing sales volume and profitability.
• Addressing client issues related to manufacturing or delivery challenges.
• Collaborating with other Merit marketing and sales personnel.
• Making pricing decisions to maximize sales volume and profitability.
• Compiling a monthly report that summarizes sales outcomes.
• Participating in various sales training and strategic planning meetings.
• Maintaining an extensive knowledge of Merit and competitor products.
• Setting and accomplishing personal performance objectives.
• Contributing as a member of the Merit sales team.
• Traveling by car, airplane, etc., to fulfill sales responsibilities.
• Performing a variety of additional sales-related tasks as needed.
• Education and experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
• At least five years of direct sales experience, ideally in the medical products sector.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and understand the needs within a sales relationship.
• High level of personal motivation and ambition to achieve both personal and professional objectives.
• Exceptional oral presentation skills.
• Capacity to learn the use of medical equipment and identify potential improvements in its application.
• Competence in working effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to apply business mathematics.
• Strong personal organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours to meet objectives, as needed.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software.
• Fluent in both German and English.
