Customer Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for managing a small-account portfolio and facilitating renewals across the entire customer base.

• Oversee the complete customer cycle for accounts with fewer than 300 seats (Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Google Cloud, AWS): including qualification, pricing, quoting, packaging, negotiation, closing, and renewal.

• Implement a tiered model - proactively engage with top-tier accounts based on revenue, risk, or upsell potential; enable automated, self-service renewals for the long tail.

• Promote retention, satisfaction, and account growth; identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities by utilizing usage and satisfaction data.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for these customers.

• Assist with comprehensive renewals across the entire customer base and all service lines, ensuring contract continuity and revenue stability.

• Leverage data analytics to identify renewal risks and growth opportunities in advance of contract dates.

• Collaborate with the Sales team and account owners on renewals for larger customers, providing support in pricing, paperwork, and vendor policies.

• Develop productized, packaged offers with transparent pricing across the customer base.

• Implement special pricing requests, ensuring compliance with vendor policies and maintaining margin integrity.

• Prepare and manage all commercial documentation — quotes, order forms, and the coordination of contracts, NDAs, and SOWs with the Contract & Compliance Specialist.

• Support the Sales team with scoping, proposal preparation, pricing inputs, and qualification.

• Act as a commercial and technical liaison between Sales and delivery to ensure proposals align with our capabilities.

• Work directly with Google counterparts concerning resell - pricing, incentives, deal registration, and approvals - as well as with AWS and JumpCloud when necessary.

• Simplify complex vendor licensing and pricing policies into clear, actionable guidance for customers and the Sales team.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in account management, renewals, or a commercial role where you independently managed customer outcomes.

• Ability to navigate the complete commercial cycle - pricing, quoting, negotiating, closing - without requiring constant guidance.

• Experience managing high-volume account portfolios with the capacity to prioritize, tier, and automate to ensure nothing is overlooked.

• Familiarity with vendor or partner resell environments - Google, AWS, or similar - or a strong aptitude for quickly understanding licensing and pricing policies.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM tools, and the capability to thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
