This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Promote and enhance Abbott Structural Heart (Surgical Valves division) through a proactive collaboration with the Regional Sales Director and Senior Territory Manager, concentrating on developing strategies for business growth and risk mitigation to meet sales targets within assigned accounts, negotiating customer contracts, and amplifying market growth opportunities.
• Establish robust relationships and work closely with healthcare providers, while keeping Abbott Surgical Valve leaders updated on market dynamics and competitive activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Abbott Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
• Tasked with formulating and executing sales strategies by assessing pertinent factors (such as product offerings and reimbursement needs) of assigned accounts to effectively promote Abbott products and increase sales revenue.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and physicians within the Center (including interventionalists, echo cardiologists, sonographers, cardiac anesthesiologists, CV surgeons, and catheter lab management) to generate referrals, schedule procedures, and ensure optimal clinical outcomes for patients.
• Actively partner with the local Senior Account Manager to provide clinical case coverage, technical support, in-service programs, and training to assist physicians and staff.
• Create action plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) by analyzing sales data, reports, market information, and other pertinent analytics; engage in discussions regarding issues and developing trends with the Regional Sales Director to support the organization in achieving sales objectives.
• A BS/BA or equivalent experience is required; a degree in Life Sciences or Marketing is preferred.
• Over 5 years of relevant sales experience in the medical device industry (preferably in cardiovascular or structural heart), or a comparable clinical background.
• Familiarity with products used in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery; knowledge of echo cardiology and other indirect imaging techniques is necessary.
• Strong organizational, communication, and process skills to support business planning, strategic planning, forecasting, sales processes, and inventory management.
• Willingness to travel: 50% or more.
• Confirmation that you will meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
