This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Achieve or surpass overall targets while enhancing HPS market share.
• Develop and secure approval or endorsement for HPS products among end users and engineering firms.
• Oversee the designated territory to ensure the effective, efficient, and economical attainment of sales goals.
• Conduct sales visits with targeted customers, distributors, consultants, and end users.
• Train distributor personnel to effectively sell and promote Hubbell products.
• Manage distributor relationships, including collaborative sales and marketing initiatives, inventory reviews, and feedback on quotes.
• Support distributors, contractors, and end users by generating product demand.
• Facilitate sales training sessions, both internal and external, within the territory as directed by management.
• Deliver formal sales presentations to various groups, including distributors and end users.
• Engage with diverse end-users through various communication channels, including letters, phone calls, small group meetings, face-to-face meetings, trade shows, and business-oriented social events.
• Serve distributors and end users while fostering demand for the Company’s product line.
• Establish rapport and cultivate strong relationships with end users, contractors, distributors, and specifying influences.
• Assist customers with requests for literature, catalogs, technical details, drawings, and cross-reference information.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the manufacturing plant to ensure successful resolution of product issues.
• Generate monthly reports for the assigned territory.
• Coordinate invitations, registrations, and marketing fund deductions for trade shows.
• Qualify sales leads and direct them for further action.
• Exhibit leadership qualities through a strong work ethic and selling skills, earning respect from both customers and colleagues.
• Acquire in-depth product and company policy knowledge and communicate this effectively to distributors and customers.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and maintain precise account records.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of related sales and territory management experience; experience in the gas utility industry is highly preferred.
• Travel is required, up to 60%; a Company vehicle will be provided.
• Proficiency in developing sales strategies, project tracking, and market development.
• Proven track record in the development and execution of sales initiatives.
• Possess a strategic vision coupled with a practical approach to achieving goals.
• Highly motivated to achieve financial objectives.
• Organized and disciplined in work habits.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of customers and build relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Salesforce (CRM) experience is preferred.
