• New Business Prospecting: You're actively engaging in community activities, such as visiting local cattle auctions and connecting with local Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations to build your business pipeline through proactive lead generation. You promptly handle inbound inquiries while balancing administrative responsibilities with fieldwork.
• Field Sales Engagement: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in the pasture. You visit ranches to assist potential customers before presenting the value of Halter. During calving season, you drop off coffee, cherishing those magical moments that truly matter to our clients.
• Growth of Existing Opportunities: You consistently seek out new avenues for expansion, including enhancing relationships with current Halter clients. You appreciate the importance of nurturing these connections to create additional value over time.
• Achieving Sales Goals: Ambitious sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and set high aspirations. You excel at managing your sales pipeline and confidently disqualifying leads when necessary. You successfully juggle current deals while keeping future opportunities in focus.
• Customer Account Management: To you, relationship-building is more than just closing a sale. After securing a deal, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their satisfaction, provide assistance, and address any challenges they face with Halter’s products. You facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, helping clients maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.
• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in what you cultivate, owning your territory with a sense of responsibility. You ensure that no area is overlooked and value being the representative face of your region. You engage with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to foster long-lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.
• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure your customers have an exceptional onboarding experience. You take charge of the entire customer journey during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, facilitating a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when handing off customers to different teams within Halter.
• Gathering Field Feedback: You understand the importance of feedback and integrate it into your territory management approach. As the primary contact for collecting customer insights, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.
• Collaborative Support Engagement: You are a natural collaborator, proactively seeking partnerships across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues encountered by your customers. You escalate matters as needed, ensuring customers in your territory feel thoroughly supported.
• Participation in Industry Events: You capitalize on opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing clients. You engage in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.
• Contribution to US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe in the strength of teamwork. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process, ensuring it aligns with the US market. Your insights will be instrumental in driving greater efficiencies as the company scales.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You possess a solid understanding of ranching or cattle operations, allowing you to relate to customers by comprehending the unique challenges of the industry.
• Sales & Customer Success Knowledge: You have a proven track record of generating new business, negotiating value-driven sales conversations, and fostering enduring customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than engaging in transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Territory Management Experience: You have experience overseeing a large territory while maintaining a balanced emphasis on sales and customer satisfaction, ideally within the agriculture or technology sectors.
• Problem Solving & Team Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement solutions.
