This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Prospecting & Expansion: Identifying new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and various channels, in addition to responding to incoming inquiries. You will oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.

• Achieving Sales Targets: Manage your pipeline effectively to meet ambitious sales targets by screening, qualifying, showcasing the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with clients.

• Customer Account Management: After securing a sale, nurture strong relationships with customers to ensure their continued satisfaction, offer support, and tackle any issues they face with Halter’s products. You will facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, helping clients maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: Take significant ownership of your territory by collaborating with regional agricultural groups to build strong relationships within the beef industry.

• Customer Onboarding: Play a key role in managing the complete customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Act as the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback in your territory. Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and R&D teams to relay field insights that can enhance product improvements and innovations.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: Work alongside the Support Team to promptly resolve any issues your customers may encounter. You will escalate problems as necessary and ensure that clients in your territory feel thoroughly supported.


⛳️ Requirements

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Demonstrated experience in value-based sales, with a proven track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and establishing enduring customer relationships. You understand the importance of post-sales value building and have a background in upselling to enhance partnerships.

• Beef Industry Experience: Familiar with the intricacies of beef operations, comprehending the unique challenges faced in the industry. If you are not already knowledgeable, you should possess a strong passion for it and be eager to quickly learn about farm operations.

• Attitude: You naturally strive for excellence, enhancing the performance of those around you. You thrive under pressure and take full responsibility for your results, bringing authentic energy and enthusiasm to every interaction.

• Territory Management: Capable of employing critical thinking to manage a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, making judicious trade-offs as required.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-witted, you excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive effective solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: Regular travel within your territory to connect with customers and prospects is expected.
