📋 Description

• Prospecting New Business: You will be driving to various locations, participating in local cattle auctions, engaging with local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations, and building your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You will also respond to inbound leads promptly, balancing administrative duties with your field activities.

• In-Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding a horse, or in a side-by-side vehicle in a pasture. You will be out in the field assisting potential customers before presenting the benefits of Halter. Delivering coffee during calving season is part of your commitment. You value the special moments that truly make a difference for our customers.

• Expanding Existing Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new opportunities, including expanding your current customer base with Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. Since not every rancher will collar all their cows, you see this as a distinct opportunity to achieve your goals.

• Hitting Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets do not intimidate you; you rise to the challenge and aim high. You are a skilled pipeline manager who is confident in disqualifying leads that do not meet criteria. You can manage current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships goes beyond making a sale. After the sale, you focus on maintaining strong relationships with your customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You possess a high level of ownership and take pride in what you create. Owning an entire territory means giving attention to every area and leaving no stone unturned. You appreciate being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your strong sense of ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure that your customers have an exceptional onboarding experience. You actively manage the complete customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when passing the customer to different teams across Halter.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering feedback is critical not only for the companies you choose to work for but is also integral to how you manage your territory. As the primary point of contact for customer feedback in your area, you work diligently to advocate for the needs of your customers.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, actively seeking partnerships across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues that your customers face. You escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel completely supported.

• Attending Industry Events: You leverage opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will participate in demonstrations and network to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork enhances strength. You aim to work collaboratively with the broader team to refine and evolve the sales process, ensuring it aligns with the US market. As we grow, your contributions will help drive greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, excelling in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient in communicating with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and act proactively.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You are familiar with ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges of the industry. This experience enables you to connect with customers on what matters most.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and building enduring customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and identifying upsell opportunities to expand existing relationships.

• Territory Management experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably in agriculture or technology.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration ability: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
