📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be driving up driveways, participating in local cattle auctions, and engaging with your local Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations to build your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You will manage inbound leads promptly while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Sales in the Field: You are not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Conversations about Halter are best held over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding in a horse saddle, or on a side-by-side in the pasture. You will be on the ranch assisting potential customers before discussing the benefits of Halter. Bringing coffee during calving season is part of your approach, as you cherish the special moments that truly matter to our customers.

• Developing Existing Opportunities: You consistently seek new possibilities, including enhancing your existing customers' engagement with Halter. You recognize the value in nurturing relationships and discovering innovative methods to increase value over time. Since not every rancher will collar all their cows, you view this as a unique chance to achieve your objectives.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and aim high. You are a proficient pipeline manager who is confident in qualifying leads. You can manage current deals while keeping future opportunities in focus.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond merely closing sales. Post-sale, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any issues they may encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and implementation of Halter, ensuring customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in your work and have a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means paying attention to every detail and leaving nothing overlooked. You see the value in being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to establish lasting relationships with regional agricultural organizations.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership does not end after the sale. You ensure that your customers have the best onboarding experience possible. You actively manage the entire customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a seamless transition from sales to implementation, even after handing off the customer to different teams within Halter.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: You believe that feedback is essential not only for the organizations you wish to join but also for how you approach your territory. As the primary point of contact for gathering customer feedback in your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaboration with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, proactively engaging with partners across Halter to resolve any issues your customers face quickly. You escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You take advantage of opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Your role will involve participating in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contribution to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork strengthens the organization. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and evolve the sales process, ensuring it meets the needs of the US market. Your insights will help drive greater efficiencies as we scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, excelling in high-pressure situations. You are well-prepared and adept at communicating with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and do not hesitate to take action.

• Experience in Ranching/Cattle: You possess a deep understanding of ranching or cattle operations, recognizing the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect meaningfully with customers regarding their most important concerns.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and fostering lasting customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than engaging in transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and the ability to expand existing relationships through upselling opportunities.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably in agriculture or technology.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick-thinking, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared for frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
