This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive end-user demand for Master Lock products, software, and services within your assigned territory using a consultative sales methodology.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Safety Lockout, Electrical Services/Arc Flash Safety, and Portable Security.
• Cultivate robust relationships with end users and distribution partners.
• Meet sales targets and enhance market share across all commercial distribution channels.
• Facilitate sales meetings and conduct product knowledge training sessions for customers and distribution partners.
• Monitor and analyze operating conditions, market trends, competitive activities, and end-user perceptions; provide timely and accurate insights to management.
• Log sales activities, forecasts, leads, and customer interactions in CRM software.
• Participate in national and regional conventions, trade shows, and dealer association events to foster business development.
• Oversee territory budget, encompassing travel and entertainment, office supplies, and administrative expenditures.
• Prepare and present budgets and forecasts as mandated by management.
• Identify and engage end-user facilities to promote the full product line, including safety products, software, services, security hardware, and locker locks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of field sales experience.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Demonstrated success in commercial/industrial sales.
• Familiarity with CRM software and a positive attitude towards technology.
• Preferred: Background in security, safety lockout (LOTO), and electrical arc flash safety sales.
