This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective vendor partners, ensuring they comprehend service expectations.
• Identify and assess potential new vendor partners for the vetting process.
• Be available to meet with vendor partners as needed.
• Evaluate properties within the assigned territory for quality control, confirming that exterior maintenance by third parties meets client standards and contractual obligations.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding their needs and goals to foster relationships and ensure service expectations are met and agreements are honored.
• Proactively identify issues and resolve problems independently.
• Review and comprehend contracts to identify the scope of work and business development opportunities.
• Suggest site enhancements to clients.
• Lead and manage site enhancement projects in collaboration with clients.
• Quickly identify safety concerns arising from landscape and/or environmental factors at client sites.
• Create proposals detailing the scope of new projects and accurately assign pricing for enhancement initiatives.
• Capable of performing Request for Proposal (RFP) measurements, evaluations, and photography.
• Independently oversee and execute field requests as directed by the Regional Manager.
• Provide onboarding support to new vendor partners with ongoing communication.
• Collaborate with vendor partners to implement enhancement projects according to contract specifications.
• Advise vendor partners on suggested enhancements beyond the agreed scope identified during routine service visits.
• Recognize underperforming vendor partners and initiate corrective actions.
• Facilitate and participate in training sessions centered on arboriculture, botany, horticulture, and other environmental factors.
• Knowledge of commercial landscape management, snow removal, irrigation, and/or lot sweeping.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills in interactions with vendors and clients.
• Proven track record of working autonomously in an organized, focused, and disciplined manner.
• Ability to identify, balance, and prioritize evolving client needs while fostering client relationships.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory and other locations, including overnight stays when necessary, as well as some weekend travel.
• Self-motivated individual capable of managing daily activities, including schedules, on-site and off-site meetings, and critical deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal management, client representatives, and service partners.
• Proficient in understanding and utilizing internal operating systems, MOS products, tablets, mobile phones, and cameras.
• Possession of a valid driver's license in one of the 50 states with a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of driving and operating a vehicle; walking; standing; speaking; sitting; writing; and typing.
• Preferred qualifications include a BA or higher in botany, horticulture, and/or arboriculture.
• Three to five years of experience in landscape management, landscape management sales, and managing service partners.
