• Business Prospecting: You’ll be driving to local cattle auctions, engaging with Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations, and building your new business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You’ll also respond to inbound inquiries promptly while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Field Sales: You’re not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Conversations about Halter are best held over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding in a saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You'll be out on the ranch assisting prospective customers before discussing the benefits of Halter. You’ll even deliver coffee during calving season, cherishing those special moments that make a significant impact on our clients.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You continuously seek new chances, including enhancing relationships with existing customers using Halter. You understand the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to add value over time. Not every rancher will collar all of their cows, presenting a unique opportunity for you to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Goals: High-growth sales targets motivate you; you embrace challenges and aim high. You’re proficient in pipeline management and confidently qualify leads without hesitation. You can handle current deals while keeping an eye on next month’s opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, relationship-building goes beyond making a sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their continued satisfaction, provide assistance, and address any issues they encounter with Halter’s products. You will facilitate a smooth transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in what you build and possess a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means addressing every aspect and leaving no detail unattended. You appreciate being the representative of your territory, engaging with high-level stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to foster enduring relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You are dedicated to ensuring your customers have the best onboarding experience possible. You take charge of the entire customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a seamless transition from sales to implementation, even when handing off customers to different teams at Halter.

• Gathering Field Insights & Feedback: You recognize the importance of feedback, not only for the companies you aspire to work for but also as an essential part of managing your territory. As the primary contact for collecting customer feedback within your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: A natural collaborator, you actively seek partners across Halter to promptly resolve any issues your customers may face. You escalate problems as necessary to ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.
