This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by promoting incremental product adoption through the provision of clinical knowledge, primarily centered on the Gastrointestinal (GI) tract and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) anatomy.
• Possess a deep understanding of product line features, benefits, and supporting evidence.
• Regularly engage with all customers within the designated geographic area.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and physicians within the assigned territory.
• Provide education to physicians and clinical staff regarding the use of GI products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and the extended sales team by consistently sharing best practices and communication.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding and the ability to discuss the reimbursement landscape for all products.
• Continuously update sales action plans and forecasts.
• Offer solution-driven strategies to enhance product adoption and boost sales growth.
• Successfully introduce new devices developed or acquired by the organization within the assigned territory.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations and training within accounts through both individual and group interactions to enhance customer understanding and proficiency in the GI product line.
• Exhibit expertise in disease states relevant to the products offered.
• Comprehend and convey clinical and journal articles pertaining to all relevant disease states.
• Maintain administrative tasks in Salesforce.com.
• Complete all online training within assigned timelines while demonstrating proficiency.
• Maintain awareness of and adhere to the Medtronic code of conduct policy.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6+ years' experience, or an Associate’s Degree with at least 4+ years' experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years' experience.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Device Sales.
• Proven experience in business planning and forecasting.
• Completion of formal sales skills training, preferably from a Fortune 500 organization.
• Demonstrated history of surpassing sales quotas.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Experience in medical device/equipment sales.
• Background in selling to physicians in a procedural environment.
• Degree focused on Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related technical field.
• Ability to establish and sustain positive working relationships with all functional partners.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
