This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Engage directly in sales activities within SLED accounts in your designated territory.
• Develop and execute territory strategies to facilitate the deployment of Fortinet solutions to a defined set of existing accounts and new logo opportunities within your region.
• Cultivate executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to leverage these connections in achieving quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce successful contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate business terms with clients to foster mutually beneficial outcomes and establish long-term partnerships.
• Enhance and advocate for the Company’s reputation as the global leader in Unified Threat Management.
• Proven Tech Sales professional with a deep understanding of SLED accounts (state, local government, K-12, and higher education) in the South Florida region.
• Prior experience in formulating business plans and market strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Proficient in selling solutions.
• Documented success in meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional presentation skills tailored for diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to advance deals through the sales cycle.
• Driven, proactive, and focused on achieving results.
• Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Previous experience in network security and familiarity with technologies such as VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
