📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be responsible for driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, and engaging with local Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations to build your business pipeline through outbound lead generation efforts. You will also manage inbound leads promptly while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• In-Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands and boots dirty. Discussions about Halter are best held over coffee at a kitchen table, while in the horse saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You will be out on the ranch assisting potential customers before discussing the value of Halter. You may even drop off coffee during calving season, cherishing the special moments that create a significant impact for our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new opportunities, including expanding your existing customer base with Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. You understand that not every rancher will collar all their cows, viewing this as a unique opportunity to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: You are not intimidated by high-growth sales targets; rather, you embrace challenges and set ambitious goals. As an expert pipeline manager, you confidently qualify leads without hesitation. You can manage current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond making a sale. After closing a deal, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure their continuous satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping customers derive maximum value from Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take immense pride in your work and possess a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory involves attending to every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the face of your territory, engaging with high-level stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to cultivate enduring relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You dedicate yourself to ensuring that your customers receive the best onboarding experience possible. You actively oversee the entire customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when handing off the customer to different teams across Halter.

• Field Insights & Feedback: You understand that feedback is crucial for the companies you choose to work for, and it is fundamentally integrated into how you manage your territory. Serving as the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback in your area, you diligently advocate for your customers’ needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: As a natural collaborator, you proactively seek partnerships across Halter to resolve customer issues promptly. You escalate problems as necessary to ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.

• Attending Industry Events: You take advantage of relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Participation in demonstrations and networking is key to expanding Halter’s market presence.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork strengthens a team. You endeavor to collaborate with the broader team to refine and enhance the sales process to suit the US market. As we grow, your insights will contribute to driving greater efficiencies.

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, excelling in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and proficient at communicating with both customers and internal teams. You take initiative and do not hesitate to take action.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You are familiar with the intricacies of ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges of the industry. This experience enables you to engage meaningfully with customers about what matters most to them.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and fostering enduring customer relationships.
