đź“‹ Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be engaging in activities such as driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, and connecting with local Livestock, Cattlemans, and Stockmans associations to build your new business pipeline through outbound lead generation efforts. You’ll also be fielding inbound leads promptly while prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• In-Field Sales: You are not deterred by getting your hands dirty. The best discussions about Halter happen over coffee at a kitchen table, while on horseback, or in a side-by-side on a pasture. You’ll be present on the ranch assisting potential customers before discussing the benefits of Halter. You may even drop off coffee during calving season, cherishing the special moments that make a significant impact on our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new possibilities, which includes enhancing your existing customer base with Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to add value over time. Not all ranchers will collar every cow, so you view this as a unique opportunity to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets do not intimidate you; instead, you embrace challenges and aim high. You are a skilled pipeline manager who is confident in qualifying leads and capable of juggling current deals while keeping an eye on future opportunities.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships goes beyond just closing a sale. Post-sale, you strive to maintain close ties with your customers to guarantee their ongoing satisfaction, offer support, and tackle any challenges they may face with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, helping customers maximize the value of Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in your work and possess a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means providing attention to every detail and ensuring no corner is overlooked. You appreciate being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to cultivate enduring relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment does not end after the sale; you ensure that customers have the best onboarding experience possible. You take charge of the entire customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, guaranteeing a smooth transition from sales to implementation, even when collaborating with different teams across Halter.

• Gathering Field Learnings & Feedback: You understand the importance of feedback to the companies you want to work for, and it is integral to how you manage your territory. Serving as the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback, you work diligently to advocate for your customers’ needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator who proactively seeks partners within Halter to resolve any issues faced by your customers promptly. You escalate problems as needed and ensure that clients in your territory feel completely supported.

• Participating in Industry Events: You utilize opportunities at relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will take part in demonstrations and network to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You believe that teamwork strengthens performance. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and evolve the sales process to better suit the US market. As we grow, your insights will help drive improved efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: Your familiarity with ranching or cattle operations, along with an understanding of the industry’s unique challenges, enables you to connect with customers on what matters most.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You possess a solid track record of generating new business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales conversations, and developing lasting customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for long-term success stories and identifying upsell opportunities with existing clients.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience overseeing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably within agriculture or technology.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Skills: Resourceful and quick-witted, you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.
