This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• The Spine Territory Manager is tasked with overseeing the designated territory by formulating effective strategic plans, leveraging Globus Medical’s resources, and proactively implementing actions to achieve or surpass annual sales targets.
• Acquires and continually enhances product knowledge through formal sales training, surgeon speaker programs, attending surgeries or visits, and conducting industry research.
• Conducts themselves in a manner consistent with the company’s quality policy, ensuring the confidentiality of proprietary information is maintained.
• Swiftly communicates innovative ideas to the product development team.
• Participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
• Develops a comprehensive understanding of all Globus Medical products as well as the major competitors across all product categories.
• Regularly provides insights on various topics including product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedback.
• Cultivates relationships with key spine surgeon customers.
• Oversees Consignments and Loaner inventory, facilitating the movement of loaner sets between accounts as necessary.
• Maintains regular communication with the Area Director to review the status of the Business Plan, including resource utilization, strategic discussions, sales execution, educational program approvals, issue resolution, and outstanding administrative tasks.
• Develops and implements an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
• Manages travel expenses within the allocated budget.
• Effectively supervises any qualified Associate Spine Specialist.
• Complies with the letter and spirit of the company’s Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, the MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
• Ensures adherence to applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both domestically and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training while maintaining compliance knowledge relevant to the role.
• Represents the company professionally and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Preferred experience in operating rooms (either as a hospital employee or an external partner).
• Experience in hospital education or hospital sales is preferred.
• A strong affinity for the hospital environment and identification with medical devices.
• Strong technical skills with an advanced understanding of human anatomy and basic medical procedures.
• Enjoyment in consulting and coaching, coupled with a high service orientation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High degree of independence, reliability, and a proactive work approach.
• A strong sense of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, which may include overnight stays and/or weekends.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Fluency in both German and English is essential.
