This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Regularly engaging with clients and accounts to showcase and demonstrate Merit products, highlighting their advantages.
• Identifying potential customers and presenting them with the product offerings from Merit.
• Keeping in touch with clients to assess their satisfaction with the products.
• Recognizing opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction with the products.
• Creating custom drawings for clients requiring tailored kits or manifolds.
• Preparing and delivering pricing contracts to clients for the products.
• Following up with clients to uncover avenues for boosting sales volume and profitability.
• Addressing any issues clients may encounter related to manufacturing or delivery.
• Collaborating with other Merit marketing and sales personnel to guarantee timely shipment of the correct products to customers.
• Making decisions within authorized limits regarding product pricing to maximize sales volume and profitability.
• Compiling a monthly report that summarizes sales results, contacts made, product change needs, and suggestions for improving Merit's procedures.
• Participating in various sales training and planning sessions.
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Merit and competitor products, including their strengths and weaknesses.
• Establishing and meeting personal performance targets for sales volume, new contacts, new client sales, and related sales achievements.
• Contributing as a member of the Merit sales team to enhance the company’s market share.
• Education and experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
• At least five years of direct sales experience, ideally in the medical products sector.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and understand the needs of others in a sales context.
• High level of personal motivation and determination to achieve both personal and professional objectives.
• Exceptional oral presentation skills.
• Capability to learn about the usage of medical equipment and identify areas for improvement in its application.
• Ability to function effectively as a team member to meet organizational goals.
• Proficiency in business mathematics to calculate percentages and prepare financial and sales reports.
• Strong personal organization skills.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work extended hours to meet objectives, as necessary.
• Proven computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software applications.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
