This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Prospecting & Expansion: Identifying new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and additional channels while also responding to incoming inquiries. You will oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.

• Meeting Sales Targets: Manage your sales pipeline and achieve ambitious growth targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with clients.

• Customer Account Management: Post-sale, maintain strong relationships with clients to guarantee their continuous satisfaction, provide support, and tackle any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and implementation of Halter, ensuring clients derive maximum value from Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: Take significant ownership of your territory by collaborating with regional agricultural groups to establish deep connections within the beef industry.

• Customer Onboarding: Play a key role in managing the end-to-end customer experience during the onboarding and deployment phases of Halter’s product, ensuring a smooth shift from sales to implementation.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Act as the main point of contact for collecting customer feedback in your territory. Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and R&D teams to relay insights from the field that can lead to product enhancements and innovations.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: Work alongside the Support Team to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You will escalate problems as necessary and ensure that clients in your territory feel thoroughly supported.

You comprehend post-sales value creation and have experience in upselling to enhance partnerships.

• Beef Industry Experience: You are knowledgeable about beef operations and the specific challenges within the industry. If you lack this knowledge, you should be deeply passionate about it and eager to immerse yourself in farm operations to learn quickly.

• Territory Management: Possess critical thinking skills to manage a vast territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, making appropriate trade-offs.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Being resourceful and quick-thinking, you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects is essential.
