This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Prospecting & Growth: Actively sourcing new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and various channels, while also responding to incoming inquiries. You will oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
• Achieving Sales Objectives: Manage your pipeline effectively to meet ambitious sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with clients.
• Customer Account Stewardship: Post-sale, maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, maximizing customer value from our solutions.
• Territory Accountability: Exhibit a high level of ownership in your designated territory, collaborating with regional agricultural groups to cultivate deep relationships within the beef industry.
• Customer Onboarding: Take charge of the comprehensive customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to implementation.
• Field Insights & Feedback: Act as the primary contact for collecting customer feedback within your territory. Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and R&D teams to relay insights from the field that could lead to product enhancements and innovations.
• Partnering with Support Teams: Work alongside the Support Team to swiftly resolve any issues your customers may encounter. You will escalate problems as necessary to ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.
• Sales & Customer Success Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in value-based sales, with a proven track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and fostering long-term customer relationships. You understand the importance of post-sales value creation and have experience in upselling to enhance partnerships.
• Beef Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with beef operations and an understanding of the unique challenges within the industry. If you lack experience, a strong passion for the field and a willingness to immerse yourself in farm operations is essential.
• Positive Attitude: You are a team player who elevates those around you. You thrive under pressure and take responsibility for your results. Your interactions are characterized by genuine energy and enthusiasm.
• Territory Management Skills: Capable of employing critical thinking to manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success, making necessary trade-offs.
• Problem-Solving & Team Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-witted, you excel in working with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement solutions.
• Openness to Travel: Willing to travel frequently within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
