This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take ownership and enhance sales within the designated territory for Trek, Electra Bicycles, and Bontrager Accessories.
• Establish sales targets and oversee forecasting, ordering, prospecting, and pipeline management.
• Evaluate dealer performance and execute strategies to boost sell-through, assortment, and profitability.
• Act as a business advisor to retailers, offering recommendations on merchandising, inventory management, staffing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Appoint, nurture, and assist retail partners to optimize Trek's market standing.
• Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships through regular in-person engagements.
• Provide product knowledge and sales training to retailer teams.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards for product presentation and the in-store experience.
• Identify, prospect, and onboard new retail partners to broaden market coverage and enhance distribution.
• Keep track of competitive activity and local market trends.
• Represent Trek at retail events, demonstrations, and market activations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and consistently embody the Trek brand.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a consultative, relationship-focused environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and lead sales discussions with assurance.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation capabilities.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and proficient in follow-up and territory planning.
• Experience in the cycling industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools is essential.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Ascend POS is advantageous.
• Bonus: Awareness of the territory and local markets is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional overnight trips and visits to Trek HQ in Wisconsin.
