This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be driving to various locations, participating in local cattle auctions, engaging with your local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations, and building your business pipeline through proactive lead generation activities. You will also be responding to inbound leads promptly while prioritizing administrative duties alongside your fieldwork.

• In-Field Sales: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. The best discussions about Halter happen over coffee at a kitchen table, while riding horses, or during a ride in a side-by-side in a pasture. You will be present on ranches, assisting potential customers before discussing the benefits of Halter. You’ll be delivering coffee during calving season, valuing those special moments that truly make a difference for our clients.

• Expanding Existing Opportunities: You are always on the lookout for new opportunities, including broadening your existing customer base with Halter. You recognize the importance of nurturing relationships and discovering innovative ways to enhance value over time. Since not every rancher collars all of their cows, you view this as a distinct opportunity to achieve your sales goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets do not intimidate you; you embrace challenges and aim high. As an expert pipeline manager, you confidently disqualify leads without hesitation. You are adept at managing current deals while keeping future opportunities in sight.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond making sales. Once a sale is completed, you focus on maintaining strong connections with customers to guarantee their satisfaction, provide necessary support, and tackle any challenges related to Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a smooth transition from sales to customer onboarding and the deployment of Halter, ensuring clients maximize the value of our solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take immense pride in what you create and maintain a strong sense of ownership over your territory. This means treating every area with care and leaving no stone unturned. You appreciate being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to foster enduring relationships within regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership continues post-sale. You ensure that customers receive the best onboarding experience possible. You take charge of the entire customer journey during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s products, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation, even when transferring the customer to different teams within Halter.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering feedback is crucial not only for the companies you wish to work with but also for how you manage your territory. Acting as the primary contact for customer feedback in your area, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: As a natural collaborator, you proactively seek out partners across Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate problems when necessary, ensuring that customers in your territory feel fully supported.

• Attending Industry Events: You leverage relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will participate in demonstrations and network to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: You firmly believe that teamwork leads to stronger results. You aim to collaborate with the broader team to refine and adapt the sales process to suit the US market. As we grow, your insights will contribute to greater efficiencies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, thriving in high-pressure situations. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with both customers and internal teams. Proactivity is key, and you do not hesitate to take action.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You are well-versed in the intricacies of ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges within the industry. This experience enables you to connect meaningfully with customers about what truly matters.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You have a proven track record of creating new business opportunities and conducting value-based sales conversations. Your experience lies in cultivating lasting customer relationships, focusing on long-term success rather than merely transactional sales, and identifying upsell opportunities within existing relationships.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience overseeing a large territory, balancing sales efforts with customer success, ideally within the agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Ability: With a resourceful and quick-thinking nature, you work effectively with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to travel frequently within your territory to engage with both customers and prospects.
