This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Proactively identifying leads, formulating proposals, and negotiating agreements to enhance network growth.
• Recognizing and developing business cases for new growth initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Acting as the strategic link between external accounts, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, and advising clients on new product offerings or operational improvements.
• Investigating new partnership possibilities and overseeing a portfolio of clients to retain, expand, and stimulate both existing and new business through increased acceptance and transaction volume.
• Proactively managing and assessing risks and customer-related issues, ensuring adherence to new procedures during contract and pricing negotiations.
• Conducting market assessments to keep abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and the opportunity pipeline to boost network transaction volume and revenue generation.
• This role involves direct client interaction and requires approximately 10% travel.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the payments industry, focusing on business development, sales, strategy, relationship management, or marketing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing is preferred.
• Over 9 years of experience in the payments industry in business development, sales, strategy, relationship management, or marketing is preferred.
• Experience in Business Development within the Fintech, Credit Card, or Commercial Banking sectors is preferred.
• Experience in client management in international markets is preferred.
