This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Attain sales growth objectives.
• Enhance profitability within the designated territory.
• Manage annual budget targets for expenses.
• Assist dealerships with the ordering process, ensuring effective and prompt communication.
• Deliver ongoing post-sales support and services, working together with the Service department when necessary.
• Organize and facilitate field demonstrations, promotional events, and dealer activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Service and Support, engineering, and marketing, to effectively address dealer and customer issues.
• Provide monthly updates on territory activities.
• Develop a territory strategy utilizing a territory plan and Key dealer account plans.
• Be accountable for company Demo tools when assigned, ready to travel and demonstrate within the territory.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase Salford’s product range.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure consistency and transparency in documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of sales experience with a proven ability to forge strong relationships with dealers or customers.
• 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment sales, ideally within the agriculture industry or similar sectors.
• Familiarity with the agriculture sector and its products is beneficial, though an eagerness to learn and adapt is also appreciated.
• Exceptional communication and networking skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience in developing and executing territory and account plans.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a background in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Experience in organizing field demonstrations or promotional events.
• A proven history of establishing and maintaining long-term dealer or client relationships.
• Previous involvement in trade shows or industry events is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for travel purposes.
