This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Enhance STIHL sales by evaluating market conditions, analyzing the competitive environment, and assessing existing dealers to create strategies and promotions aimed at increasing distribution and profitability, including booking and sales to dealers.
• Engage with dealers at suitable intervals to implement national and regional promotions, Point of Purchase displays, merchandising, and branch programs, collaborating effectively with marketing, customer service, finance, and technical departments.
• Educate both new and existing dealers on essential STIHL programs and facilitate training sessions with the territory support team, including organizing and leading STIHL University for a large audience.
• Initiate the development of new dealers and ensure successful store setup and initial training.
• Participate in and support STIHL at various regional trade shows and dealer events to promote STIHL, our products, and services.
• Assist with designated initiatives (BER, EDGE, New Dealer, etc.).
• Create business/action plans with dealers to evaluate dealer performance and set future goals that foster overall business growth opportunities.
• Maintain various reports (CRM reporting, monthly field reports, and territory intelligence reports as requested).
• Perform dealer administrative tasks, such as responding to emails, following up, scheduling, and maintaining Outlook calendars, as well as managing STIHL website setup and maintenance (SSO, Rewards, iCademy, eBiz, etc.).
• Undertake all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and web-based applications.
• Exhibits effective time management skills, readiness for extended overnight travel, and strong presentation abilities.
• Eager to enhance skills through continuing education and training resources, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience with outdoor power equipment is preferred.
