This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote and sell Siplast roofing and/or Wall Control products while managing all aspects of general administration within your district.
• Interact with owners/developers, construction and enclosure consultants, architects, specifiers, distributors, and installing contractors to offer substantial technical advice and support during their design, specification, and installation processes.
• Identify project opportunities, generate and distribute leads, enhance the customer network, provide professional learning units, and showcase products.
• Influence key decision-makers in the commercial construction process to expand sales opportunities for Siplast and our clientele.
• Market Siplast products through specification selling to major owners, architects, roofing consultants, and roofing contractors, which includes identifying prospective jobs and decision-making individuals, timely outreach, and effective follow-up.
• Establish and uphold a quality roofing contractor and lightweight contractor program, drawing on contractor business knowledge, general market insight, and active participation in local trade organizations and activities.
• Deliver technical services such as developing and/or reviewing roofing specifications for prospective jobs, attending pre-job meetings (if necessary), conducting periodic job/rooftop inspections (if necessary), and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with local field technical representatives to prioritize and manage the technical needs of your territory.
• Develop, monitor, and manage the Sales budget, ensuring that forecasting, sales, and related business expenses remain within defined limits and comply with policies.
• Complete all necessary administrative and electronic reports, including itineraries, expense reports, prospect lists, job quotes, shipping forecasts, call reports, activity reports, guarantee forms, and factory warehouse inventory reports, adhering to established guidelines and time frames.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the roofing, building, or construction industry
• 1-3 years of experience managing client/customer relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication, with the ability to build and sustain business relationships
• Sales experience in the building material industry, preferably in multi-channel selling of roofing materials to distributors, contractors, consultants, and architects
• Proficiency with MS Office, GSuite, and other sales applications and software
