This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.
• Act as a reliable advisor to leaders and colleagues on intricate employee relations issues.
• Offer support on performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, corrective actions, and workplace challenges.
• Collaborate with leaders to navigate sensitive matters involving claims of harassment, discrimination, unjust treatment, and other employee relations concerns.
• Work alongside HR leaders and business partners to ensure consistent communication, alignment, and implementation of people practices.
• Mentor and coach Team Member Relations Consultants while acting as a resource for the team.
• Identify areas for process enhancement, service delivery improvement, and organizational outcome strengthening.
• Collaborate with Legal and People & Culture teams to assist in addressing employment-related claims, agency charges, and other workplace issues.
• Provide guidance to leaders on corrective actions and conflict resolution processes, ensuring successful resolution and follow-up.
• Assist with unemployment-related issues in conjunction with HR Service Center teams.
• Foster fair, consistent, and legally compliant workplace practices throughout the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in employee relations.
• Extensive understanding of employee relations practices, workplace investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Strong consultation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders through intricate and sensitive circumstances.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Capability to balance employee advocacy with business objectives and risk management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust with stakeholders at all levels.
