This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +7 more states.
• Create and implement sales strategies for the territory to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Discover and pursue new business prospects with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental services.
• Showcase the complete Steelwrist product range through demonstrations, presentations, and client visits.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline while providing precise forecasting and reporting.
• Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer demands within the territory.
• Establish and nurture solid relationships with both current and potential dealers.
• Assist dealer sales teams through product training, ride-alongs, and technical support.
• Help dealers with quotations, product choices, and application suggestions.
• Organize and facilitate product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events.
• Ensure customers receive prompt communication and exceptional service.
• Efficiently manage travel schedules for the assigned territory to enhance customer engagement.
• Keep accurate CRM records, sales activity reports, and opportunity tracking.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments such as support, marketing, production, and leadership teams.
• Assist with inventory planning and forecasting based on regional needs.
• Support growth initiatives and align with strategic company goals.
• Develop and sustain extensive technical knowledge of Steelwrist products and excavator attachment applications.
• Offer product recommendations based on machine size, customer application, and job site specifications.
• Aid customers and dealers with basic troubleshooting and coordinate service support when necessary.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products.
• Over 3 years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of excavators, attachments, and applications in construction equipment.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and dealers.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
