Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Optimize the sales of all SIGVARIS products within the designated geographical territory.

• Identify and engage with key physicians, customers, hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Medical Centers, and Veterans Affairs (VAs).

• Stay informed about competitors and their product offerings.

• Create and implement a structured travel itinerary or zone plan.

• Conduct effective meetings with key decision-makers.

• Utilize available virtual communication tools effectively for interaction with customers and colleagues.

• Input detailed call activity into sales application tools.

• Generate and analyze sales reports to pinpoint trends within the territory.

• Conduct searches to identify new customers, including dealers and physicians.

• Remain knowledgeable about all compression reimbursements related to state and regional insurance plans.

• Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new releases, merchandising techniques, etc., to monitor competition.

• Address customer complaints to achieve mutual benefits for both the company and the customer by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

• Actively engage in medical conventions and/or trade shows as needed.

• Prepare and submit a weekly Planning and Activities report to the Regional Sales Manager.

• Maximize cost savings and demonstrate fiduciary responsibility to keep expenses below budget.

• Exhibit effective presentation skills.

• Foster a positive team morale through open communication across all departments, promoting an innovative and cooperative work environment.

• Interact with external and internal customers promptly to maintain positive relationships.

• Exhibit patience, courtesy, and tact while demonstrating flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to collaborate with others as necessary.

• Employ effective communication methods.

• Keep Regional Sales Managers and/or relevant management staff informed of developments that may affect their functions.

• Respond promptly to all oral and written communications.

• Maintain and encourage open lines of communication with both internal and external customers.

• Check and respond to voice mail messages promptly.

• Present written data to affected internal/external customers accurately and legibly.

• Be proficient in using MS Teams, Zoom, and similar platforms to engage the customer base and call points as needed.

• Adhere to established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and applicable Federal, State, and local laws.

• Follow all work instructions and maintain accurate records to meet internal and external requirements supporting the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.

• Accurately perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities to ensure an efficient workflow.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• At least two years of experience as a field sales representative, preferably with a focus on pharmacies, doctors, and retail establishments.

• B2B experience is highly preferred.

• A vehicle that meets the Auto Allowance policy standards is necessary; the ability to travel 20% to 40% overnight depending on the territory size is required.

• Must be capable of lifting and managing a rolling detail bag and setting up displays at selected customer locations.
