• Create and deliver targeted presentations while following up with individuals, small groups, and larger teams, including the sales department.
• Exhibit strategic planning and execution by properly scheduling and documenting activities in our CRM; leverage available reports and tools to meet planning requirements.
• Investigate and identify customer opportunities and challenges through effective questioning and active listening; recognize needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Develop comprehensive action plans and schedules in advance to nurture customer relationships.
• Efficiently navigate the internal customer database to find and document customer information.
• Negotiate, structure, and finalize complex opportunities with an emphasis on creating mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Effectively communicate SanMar’s value proposition through targeted presentations and discussions.
• Explain and showcase the features and advantages of SanMar’s marketing tools to external clients.
• Organize travel arrangements for air, car, and hotel to facilitate thorough customer engagement while managing company expenses.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant sales experience.
• 1-3 years of industry-specific sales experience is preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, along with a good driving record.
• Ability to analyze emerging business trends and assess the viability of opportunities.
• Capacity to build meaningful partnerships and communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Assertive communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, objectivity, and service orientation.
• Must possess leadership qualities, enthusiasm, energy, a sales-oriented mindset, and an outgoing personality.
• Exemplary organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary.
• Must be able to reside in the main metropolitan or a comparable area of the Tucson managed territory.
• Should be able to provide a credit card for business expenses and acknowledge a 2-4 week reimbursement process.
