This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Accountable for sales, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for several "target" customers in the South FL region.
• Create and execute a detailed sales strategy for each "target" account and/or geographical area, focusing on their buying centers and encompassing the full range of Motorola products and services.
• Organize and lead a diverse team of internal and external sales resources to evaluate customer needs and meet their requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to influence customer technology platform choices, fostering preference and loyalty towards Motorola Solutions.
• Actively seek out and develop substantial project opportunities that include a broad spectrum of products and services.
• Take the initiative to engage and guide channel partners in promoting Motorola products and services.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within and outside the public safety sector, including Sheriffs, Mayors, CIOs, Police Chiefs, Fire Chiefs, and other officials, to understand and impact technology and funding priorities.
• Actively involve Motorola executive sponsors to establish a strategic relationship that positions long-term opportunities for Motorola.
• Develop Motorola procurement vehicles for various solutions that can be utilized across an entire "target" account.
• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience or 8+ years of sales/public safety experience.
• Outside sales experience selling solutions to government organizations is preferred.
• Strong skills in relationship development and management.
• Self-motivated with the ability to proactively identify and create sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to quickly learn new product/solution characteristics and effectively communicate their value to customers.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-Level executives.
• Experience in leveraging channel partners to meet customer needs.
• Bilingual candidates with Spanish fluency are preferred.
