This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Foster and enhance strong relationships at the highest levels within the account.
• Build and nurture customer loyalty and ensure Customer Delight.
• Facilitate engagement between the Executive Sponsor and other senior leaders within the broader Thermo Fisher leadership.
• Identify and establish connections for potential expansion opportunities within the account.
• Lead the team to meet targets within the Clinical Development Services Division.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external communications across all CRG.
• Create and maintain an active account plan while demonstrating progress against established strategies.
• Recognize key areas for strategic expansion within the account and drive proactive selling across all CRG business units.
• Work collaboratively with therapeutic unit leadership to devise strategies and execute the account growth plan.
• Build strong working relationships with internal operational, commercial, and finance partners to ensure effective execution according to plan.
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing account team, including business development and development operations.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is the minimum educational requirement; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Prior experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, totaling approximately 15+ years; strong preference for experience in a CRO, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device sales industry.
• Demonstrated sales success with extensive domestic geographic responsibility and 5+ years of account management experience.
• Proven track record of success in a similar commercial leadership role, consistently achieving and surpassing commercial targets.
• Comprehensive Clinical Operations experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the CRO industry and clinical trial processes, including regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Strong grasp of complex technical requirements with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the capability to collaborate, cultivate, and influence stakeholders across various functions and levels.
• Executive presence with the ability to build and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
• Capacity to create constructive tension with customers by identifying challenges and potential gaps, designing tailored solutions and messaging to influence customer behavior and the buying process.
