This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales, North America to formulate and implement a sales strategy and plan aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and address potential obstacles to the proper integration and adoption of specified products while recognizing potential new customers and opportunities.
• Oversee sales and customer support within a designated territory.
• Execute launch strategies designed by the Sales and Marketing teams by providing product introductions and training sessions for customers.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the territory to pinpoint key target accounts.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads.
• Monitor the competition by collecting information and sharing insights with the marketing team.
• Build daily relationships with multiple customers within an account and keep them updated on supply and inventory.
• Address customer complaints by investigating issues and making recommendations to management.
• Assist in market development initiatives to increase the pool of patients eligible for our treatment.
• Support the Director of Marketing and VP of Clinical Engagement in executing educational programs for physicians and other health professionals involved in utilizing metra to accelerate adoption rates.
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs through professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills, often involving virtual and large in-person presentations.
• Collaborate effectively with Clinical Specialists, marketing, medical, leadership, and the broader matrix team to fulfill customer needs.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and its products.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage a large geographic area requiring regular air travel and overnight stays.
• Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct along with all other company policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a medically related field.
• At least five years of sales experience in the medical device or transplant sector, with a proven history of achieving or surpassing targets.
• Minimum of five years of sales experience focused on hospital total account management.
• An entrepreneurial mindset exhibiting a high level of resourcefulness, creativity, and personal credibility is essential to identify barriers to product utilization and implement suitable solutions.
• Excellent presentation skills in both virtual formats and in-person settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with active listening skills to uncover unmet needs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a high-stress environment where daily responsibilities and locations may vary.
• In-depth understanding of the medical device market, ideally with experience in organ transplantation.
• Proven capability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
