This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, builders, contractors, and various trade professionals across the designated territory.

• Expand an existing portfolio by pinpointing opportunities to boost product utilization and strengthen customer collaborations.

• Formulate and implement territory sales strategies that align with annual sales goals and foster long-term business development.

• Showcase merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives to deliver customer value and enhance market visibility.

• Provide outstanding customer service through account visits, proactive outreach, and prompt follow-ups.

• Inform customers via product demonstrations, training sessions, trade exhibitions, and industry events.

• Collaborate with Territory Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Regional leadership.

• Maintain ongoing communication with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and uncover new business prospects.

• Utilize CRM tools and company sales protocols to oversee customer relationships, territory activities, and sales prospects.

• Relay customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to internal teams.

• Represent Moen and Fortune Brands Innovations with professionalism and integrity.

• Oversee travel and administrative duties within the territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in plumbing, building materials, construction products, or a related field.

• Proven track record in building and sustaining relationships with plumbing wholesalers, distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, or channel partners.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience in product presentations, customer training, and assisting with sales and marketing efforts.

• Capability to work autonomously and effectively manage a territory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Must reside within the greater Portland/Vancouver area.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily by vehicle, including approximately 2 to 3 overnight trips per month.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline preferred.

• Experience in selling plumbing products, faucets, fixtures, or similar building materials preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar preferred.
