This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Generate new sales and revenue by leveraging resources to explore untapped market sectors.
• Manage and nurture existing customer relationships through regular communication.
• Effectively oversee assigned Sales Areas, which includes qualifying prospects, addressing minor grievances, assisting with payment collections, and acting as a liaison to the parts and service departments for clients.
• Monitor and maintain cost-effectiveness regarding travel expenses for the region.
• Engage in Trade Shows and conferences.
• Keep a detailed log of activities, including call reports and/or CRM entries for the designated region.
• Take responsibility for enhancing product knowledge through job site visits, IDE class opportunities, and traveling alongside other IDE personnel.
• Promote and represent all product lines offered by IDE within the assigned region.
• Create a travel agenda that ensures personal interaction with each client at least once every quarter.
• Assist in developing a sales forecast and maintain a database for tracking offers and deals.
• Adhere to all IDE policies and procedures.
• Participate in annual Sales Development seminars.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador for IDE and its suppliers.
• Plan and schedule sales trips aimed at: acquiring new sales leads and opportunities, providing marketing information on IDE services and product lines, introducing innovations to clients, and offering solutions based on IDE resources that can be provided to clients.
• Increase regional revenue by: researching and making cold calls to new prospects, following up on leads, closing deals, understanding and analyzing clients’ needs and challenges, and investigating clients’ current equipment and tooling status.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in a related industry.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relations capabilities.
• Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
