This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +2 more states.
• Identify and engage potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct thorough market research to uncover new opportunities and broaden the customer base.
• Demonstrate products and services to prospective clients through compelling presentations and sales pitches.
• Negotiate sales agreement terms, pricing, and contracts with customers to finalize deals.
• Close sales and meet targets by understanding customer needs and addressing any concerns.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions within CRM software.
• Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of products or services and effectively meet customer needs.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets, quotas, and objectives set by the sales manager or company leadership.
• Continuously enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills through training and self-development initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations in all sales-related activities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry or with comparable products or services (required).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas (required).
• Excellent persuasive interpersonal skills for effective communication with potential and existing clients.
• Customer-focused mindset, emphasizing exceptional service and long-term relationship building.
• Resilience to manage rejection and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude and a persistent approach to achieving goals.
• Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage leads, follow-ups, and sales appointments.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with CRM software or sales tracking systems for managing and updating customer information.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Must reside within the territory (MN, ND, SD) and be willing to travel up to 60%.
