📋 Description

• New Business Prospecting: You will be driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, networking with your local Livestock, Cattleman's, and Stockman's associations to build your business pipeline through proactive lead generation efforts. You will also handle inbound leads promptly, prioritizing administrative tasks alongside your field activities.

• Field Sales Engagement: You are comfortable getting your hands and boots dirty. Discussing Halter is best done over coffee at a kitchen table, in the saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You will be out on the ranch assisting potential customers before showcasing Halter's value. Delivering coffee during calving season is part of your approach. You appreciate those magical moments that significantly impact our customers.

• Expanding Current Opportunities: You continuously seek new opportunities, including enhancing relationships with existing Halter customers. You recognize the importance of expanding connections and discovering innovative ways to add value over time. Not every rancher will collar all their cows, which presents a unique chance to achieve your goals.

• Achieving Sales Targets: High-growth sales targets motivate you rather than intimidate you; you embrace challenges and aim for high achievements. You are an adept pipeline manager who confidently disqualifies leads when necessary. You can manage current deals while keeping future opportunities in sight.

• Customer Account Management: For you, building relationships extends beyond the initial sale. After closing a deal, you strive to maintain strong connections with your customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and tackle any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a smooth transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, helping customers maximize the value of Halter's solutions.

• Territory Ownership: You take great pride in your work and possess a strong sense of ownership. Managing an entire territory means addressing every detail and leaving no stone unturned. You value being the representative of your territory, engaging with key stakeholders from various local, state, and federal agencies to forge lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.

• Customer Onboarding: Your commitment to ownership extends beyond the sale. You ensure that your customers receive the best onboarding experience possible. You actively manage the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation, even when you have passed the customer to different teams within Halter.

• Gathering Field Learnings & Feedback: You understand the critical nature of feedback for the companies you wish to work with, and it is integrated into how you manage your territory. As the primary contact for collecting customer feedback in your territory, you work diligently to advocate for your customers' needs.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: You are a natural collaborator, actively seeking partnerships within Halter to swiftly resolve any issues your customers face. You escalate problems when necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.

• Participation in Industry Events: You take advantage of relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and strengthen relationships with existing customers. You will engage in demonstrations and networking to enhance Halter’s presence in the market.

• Contributing to the U.S. Sales Strategy: You firmly believe in the strength of teamwork. You aim to collaborate with the larger team to refine and evolve the sales process, ensuring its alignment with the U.S. market. As we grow, your insights will help drive greater efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: You are results-oriented, motivated, and adaptable, excelling in high-pressure environments. You are well-prepared and skilled in communicating effectively with both customers and internal teams. You take a proactive approach and do not hesitate to take action.

• Ranching / Cattle Experience: You are well-versed in ranching or cattle operations, understanding the unique challenges faced in the industry. This experience enables you to connect with customers on what truly matters.

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: You possess a strong background in creating new business opportunities, conducting value-based sales conversations, and fostering long-term customer relationships. You focus on building relationships rather than transactional sales, aiming for enduring success stories while expanding existing relationships through upselling opportunities.

• Territory Management Experience: You have experience managing a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, preferably within the agriculture or technology sectors.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration Skills: You are resourceful and quick-witted, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: You are open to frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
