This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Prospecting & Expansion: Identify and develop new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and various channels, as well as responding to incoming inquiries. You will oversee the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.

• Hitting Sales Targets: Manage your sales pipeline effectively and achieve ambitious sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with clients.

• Customer Account Management: After closing a sale, maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and resolve any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment of Halter, ensuring customers maximize the value from Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: Take significant ownership of your territory by collaborating with regional agricultural groups to build robust relationships across the beef industry.

• Customer Onboarding: Help manage the entire customer experience during the onboarding and deployment of Halter’s product, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Act as the main point of contact for gathering customer feedback within your territory. Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and R&D teams to communicate insights from the field that can lead to product enhancements and innovations.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: Work alongside the Support Team to swiftly address any issues your customers face. You will escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel fully supported.


⛳️ Requirements

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Proven experience in value-based sales, with a strong track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and fostering lasting customer relationships. You appreciate the importance of post-sales value creation and have experience in upselling to enhance partnerships.

• Beef Industry Experience: Familiarity with beef operations and an understanding of the unique challenges within the industry. If not already knowledgeable, you should possess a strong passion for the sector and be eager to learn about farm operations swiftly.

• Attitude: You naturally prioritize team success. You enhance those around you, thrive under pressure, and take ownership of your results. You consistently bring genuine energy and enthusiasm to every interaction.

• Territory Management: Skilled in critical thinking to effectively manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success, making necessary trade-offs.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-thinking, you effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within your territory to connect with customers and prospects is required.
