This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Achieve and surpass the sales targets set by sales management for the designated territory.
• Employ a disciplined selling strategy daily to identify and fulfill customer needs, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the CVI sales platform.
• Adhere to a territory call cycle, ensuring a minimum of six customer meetings each workday.
• Promptly address customer needs, responding to phone and email inquiries within 24 hours.
• Regularly complete and update detailed customer profiles to gain a deeper understanding of their business.
• Develop and implement an effective call cycle strategy to expand territory business; prepare and present account business plans for at least the “top 25” customers, in addition to quarterly growth plans.
• Generate new business opportunities within the assigned geographic territory.
• Maintain technical expertise regarding CVI products and competitor offerings.
• Stay informed on industry trends and analysis, including Health Product Research data.
• Train customer offices on the CVI suite of technology and value-added products and services; promote value-added tools to enhance the customer experience with CVI.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotions to boost business, monitoring to ensure a positive return on investment.
• Utilize the CRM tool and reports daily to assess product performance, account sales, and overall territory growth.
• Participate in provincial and regional optical shows when required.
• Timely submission of all administrative reports, including call reports, expense reports, and ROI reports.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally in the optical industry or a related medical/technical healthcare field.
• Preference for candidates with tangible product sales experience; knowledge of the optical sector is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; candidates with sales experience and a proven track record of performance and results will also be considered.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.

• Ability to anticipate, comprehend, prioritize, and fulfill customer needs.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, engaging with various situations, individuals, and groups daily.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
• Capable of effectively identifying, evaluating, and assimilating information to make informed decisions.
• Ability to deliver presentations to groups of varying sizes.
• Fluent in both English and French, with the ability to write and speak proficiently.
