Territory Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee account relationships for OptiFreight service offerings.

• Optimize profitable sales opportunities by comprehending business channels and the essential needs of key customers.

• Inform customers about Cardinal Health products.

• Provide support and training to clients and team members.

• Manage special projects as required.

• Drive client relationship strategies aimed at retention, contract management, revenue enhancement, profitability, expansion, and overall account performance.

• Create a detailed growth strategy for the designated territory that aligns with customer goals, financial standing, and employee benefit strategies.

• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and stimulate profitable revenue growth.

• Cultivate and oversee a balanced pipeline to meet new business revenue targets.

• Deliver Voice of Customer insights to internal Cardinal Health teams.

• Collaborate with functional areas and operational teams to provide a comprehensive product portfolio.

• Establish a consistent track record of performance and accountability year-over-year by employing various sales approaches and managing complex sales contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience.

• Previous sales experience is required (ideally 4-7 years, with a strong preference for solutions or service-based selling).

• Experience in a customer-facing role.

• Capability to build and nurture relationships both within and outside the customer base.

• Proficiency in Excel is required.

• Willingness to travel across various states within the territory.

• Expectation to meet customers face-to-face.
